This 1973 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was purchased by the current owner five years ago and has since been refurbished by Scott Gesik’s Collision Specialists of Lincoln City, Oregon. The truck is powered by a 3.9-liter inline-six paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. It is finished in light blue with a white roof over a black vinyl interior and is equipped with disc brakes, a rear-mounted spare tire, Vintage Air climate control, and troop-style rear seating.
The truck underwent a 2.5-year refurbishment by Scott Gesik’s Collision Specialists under current ownership. Work reportedly included media-blasting the body panels, rust repair, welding of split body panels, the application of rust inhibitor, and a repaint in light blue with a white roof.
Gray-painted 15? steel wheels wear polished hubcaps out back and Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires all around. Aisin locking hubs are equipped up front, and the seller added disc brakes at all four wheels.
The interior features body-color panels and flooring along with replacement seats trimmed in black vinyl. An AM radio is equipped, and a Vintage Air air conditioning system has been added. The 5-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the current owner. Total mileage is unknown.
The rear compartment features black rubber flooring, a heater, and troop-style seating trimmed in black vinyl.
The inline-six has been overbored and is now said to displace 3.9 liters. Shifting is through a 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
